Join the American Begonia Society on Saturday, November 19 at 12pm EST for a Virtual Education program, “Tuberous Begonias: The Challenges of Growing in an Ever-changing Climate.” 

During the program you will enjoy learning from three expert growers of tuberous begonias about their experiences growing in very different climates:

  • Samuel and Betty Kennedy, Scotland

.The program is a great introduction and guide to the world of tuberous begonias. Some topics include:

  • History of tuberous begonias
  • Starting tuberous begonias in the spring
  • Culture, including soils
  • How to put them to bed in the winter
  • Learning how to classify blooms of tuberous begonias
  • Growing for show
