Numbers” – Mary and Charles have recently
been appointed “U” number co-directors.
Come see the wonderful new begonias that
have been issued “U” numbers by Mary and
Charles since they have been appointed.
Think you will be quite enthralled; and, we
hope to have some of these begonias at the
convention plant sales.

Kennedy – President of the Scottish Begonia
Society
What an honor
it is to have the President of the Scottish
Begonia Society at our annual convention.
Conventioneers will be in for a real treat
from the delightful man and his charming
wife. Look for some highlights from
Scotland. Samuel told me he could
talk forever on this subject. This is sure
to be an unforgettable lecture.

and has made several expeditions to
Asia. He as seen begonias in their
native habitat and has collected plants as
well. Come enjoy Ozzie’s travelogue on his
journey to Asia and of Begonias.

“Terrariums”
– Charles & Leora are premier terrarium
growers. Lean how to grow there beautiful
specimens, win those blue ribbons and other
“family” secrets. Be sure to bring a note
pad.

also be peeks at Ades & Gish as well at

Gagul – Papua New Guinea
Janet is a
botanist with the Biology Department at the
University in Papua New Guinea.
Remember this area of the world is where the
former symbegonias originated also B.
brevirimosa. You can imagine what fantastic
plants and sites we will see and hear about
from this exciting speaker. This is a once
in a lifetime chance to hear this speaker;
unless you want to travel to Papua New
Guinea. HHHMMMM….
