Begonia Society Branch Directory You are limited only by your imagination as to the fun, adventure, variety, study, and all around good time you can have when you journey into the organized world of begonias. The American Begonia Society is that organization, and a branch of ABS is a vehicle that can introduce you to the dynamics and fun of begonias. A branch is a group of at least seven (7) members of the American Begonia Society who wish to meet together to share and gather information on all aspects of begonia growing. Meetings are usually held monthly and can feature, in addition to educational programs and demonstrations, plant exchanges, seed exchanges, the discovery of newly developed hybrids and discovery of new species. Branches are in contact with one another sharing and looking for more information about begonias. Currently, there are thirty-nine branches of the American Begonia Society in the United States and all are thrilled to share begonias and begonia talk with someone who is new to begonias.
Forming a New ABS Branch
If you don't have an American Begonia Society Branch in your area, think about starting up your own branch. Just think, if you like to grow begonias and have a friend that likes to grow begonias, and that friend has a friend, well you know...it only takes seven people who are members of the American Begonias Society to join together and form that branch. A branch only needs a Constitution, By-laws, and a few officers. ABS has a Branch Relations Director who has all the necessary organizing information and a request can put that information in your hands. Contact our Branch Relations
